I am wrong every year (except last year - Laine)...but I am thinking Jake Oettinger (goalie) would be a good choice.

Hague picked at #24 = Myers dealt.

Leave the draft with a LHD in round 1 and maybe 4 D drafted in total.

Getting pretty sick of "good ol' Canadian boys" having all Canadian cities on their no-trade lists (see Methot)....and almost all others.

My rule, no playing for Team Canada if you have 4 or more CDN teams on your no-trade list

I say trade Connor or Raslovic, take a big gulp and land a Jake Muzzin or Alec Martines out of LA. May not even cost that much if your willing to trade 1st rd pick.

LA has NO PROSPECTS and would love 2 in round 1

man, I hope not!! we have Helly, Comrie and Berdin. If we want a goalie, draft one much later!!

I also dont want Hague, to be honest, i dont know much about him but have read his skating is being question. We already have a giant D project in Stanley, dont need another. Hoping for Branstrum or Joesph.

I think Trouba gets dealt before Myers. Of all the players that have made trade requests in the past few years: Ryan Johansson, Jonathan Drouin, Evander Kane, etc..., have all eventually been dealt.

Would not surprise me if Trouba gets dealt today.

Don't think Roslovic gets dealt today, he's attending the Jets draft party! Imagine the shock of the poor guy to discover he's been traded while at the party.

I agree, my guess is nobody gets traded today......

Why mess with the established formula?

Frustrating is an understatement. I am hopeful the Jets can pull off a blockbuster, I think it would really create some major buzz around the team.

He only plays right side,we have buff, Trouba, Myers, and now Poolman who are all right handed

We have picked 4 times in the last 2 first rounds...so we could argue we are 2 years ahead in prospect pooling.

I think we could land Hamonic and keep Trouba. Send this year and next year's 1st rd picks and get NYI to throw in a 2nd

some combination of Raslovic/Conner/Myers/Petan could attract a very, very good left hand D-Man (Muzzin, Martinez, McDonough). would have to tweak it
